Erato is a hand made traditional sailing boat ideal for group of friends or big families and for all those who want to live memorable sailing vacations, without any compromise to comfort performance and enjoying. Erato is a beautiful sailing motor yacht built to inspire freedom relax and pleasure every moment spent onboard. The name Erato is coming from Greek mythology. Erato was one of the young, beautiful maidens referred to as the Nine Muses. 

The nine Muses were the daughters of Zeus, the king of the gods, and Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory. Erato and her sisters were believed to reside above the golden clouds that covered Mounts Olympus.They entertained and joined the Olympian gods in their feasts drinking water, milk, and honey.

The sisters were originally the patron goddesses of poets and musicians include comedy, tragedy, history, poetry, music, dancing, singing, rhetoric, sacred hymns, and harmony. Erato was the Muse of Lyric and Love Poetry.

      Agia Efimia is a quaint little fishing village situated on the east-coast of Kefalonia Island. It is surrounded by mountains to the north, west and south.. Agia Efimia is very centrally located on the island of Kefalonia, which makes it ideal as a base to explore the rest of Kefalonia Island. The village has a dozen little tavernas and cafeterias all of excellent quality. Each taverna in Agia Efimia has its own special dish and you will find all owners very friendly. Agia Efimia has a natural bay and beach and the bay has won numerous awards for its clean sea. Aghia Efimia exudes an atmosphere of traditional Greek hospitality where visitors are welcomed back as friends. The local harbour is lined with restaurants, tavernas and bars which reflect an uncommercialised Greek ambience rather than tourist-inspired catering

      It is mainly known as the private island of the late Greek shipping billionaire Aristotle Onassis. It was the site of his wedding to former United States First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy on October 20, 1968. Upon his death it passed to his daughter Christina, and then in turn to her daughter Athina .
      The island is heavily forested from south to north and features over 200 varieties of trees imported to the once nearly barren island by Aristotle Onassis. There are some sandy beaches, most notably East Beach, which was created by Onassis who brought sand from Salamis island for this purpose. There is also a small sand beach where the Myconos house, formerly known as the “Pig House” is located. This was where Jackie Onassis was infamously photographed nude by a Greek paparazzi .Among the many celebrities who had shown interest in buying the island in the past are Madonna and Bill Gates.
